My beautiful baubble head!

Yesterday was another appointment with the specialist, and it went well! The Dr. said that our little man looked great and that he is such a cute little baby! The Dr. said that he is partial to my baby because he has gotten to watch him grow for so long and gotten to see him so many times. I guess that he usually sees babies once to give a diagnoses on some type of problem, and then sends them back to their OB. I think also since my baby is healthy, it makes his visits with me more fun since he's not having to deliver bad news every appointment. I'm the one who is at higher risk, not the baby, so he's happy to take a look at Mr. Beau! He tells us pretty much everytime we go in how cute he is! It makes me so happy! I love going to see the specialist!

He gave us another weight estimate, and we still have a big boy!!! He estimated 6lb 6oz!!! And we still have 3 weeks left to bake this boy. For those of you keeping track, that's a 1lb 5 oz weight gain in the last two weeks! That's alot! Oh, and yes, his head is still big! LOL, I don't think we are going to dodge that bullet...but, as long as he's healthy, we will love his giant head! His little cheeks just keep getting fatter and fatter too, I was telling Kolby that he looks like a little chipmunk who has his cheeks packed with goodies! haha! So cute! They will be good for kissing on when he gets here at the END OF THIS MONTH!!!!

Here is his cute little profile with his pouty (kissable!!) lips and cute nose!

Glad your appt went well:) I wanted to answer your question about the 35 week caucasian male babies...It is really the best to go after 37weeks anything before for white male babies can be kinda in the danger zone still...they just take longer than females and any other race to develop...My sister who works as a Nurse in the nursery refers to white male babies born before 37wks as whimpy white boys....and my Dr. also confirmed this but of course said it in a different way...basically my sis said they usually having issues with breathing as their little lungs arent as developed and they tend to be a little lazy and dont fight as hard as girls or other race babies...Who knows why this is but just something that is observed...So if possible it is really best to bake that little bun as long as possible:) Of course if born at 35wks he will be OK but will probably required a two week stay n the NICU...Also weight of the baby has nothing to do with health of the baby:) Its all about the development of the baby...My sister has seen 8lb 35weekers struggle the same as 5lb 25 weekers....So Cook little Beau a little longer:) and I hope Im not scaring you...Take care Girlie!!!
