Week 35 Survey!!!

Baby's now the size of a melon!!!

Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that he's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds. Because it's so snug in your womb, he isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times he kicks should remain about the same. His kidneys are fully developed now, and his liver can process some waste products. Most of his basic physical development is now complete — he'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight

Survey

How far along? 35 weeks

Weight Gain? Yeah, so I gained 3 lbs in the last two weeks, I'm now up to 143, and that's a total of 30 lbs from the start!

Maternity clothes? Trying to hold out for the last few weeks with the clothes that I have...I have like 1 pair of pants that I can wear to work, so I told them I was just going to wear jeans rather than slacks...so they gave me a pass for that!

Stretch marks? Nope!!! No new ones, and the belly is still looking good!

Sleep? It's been pretty good! Still getting up to go potty in the night as usual, but not any more often than usual, usually just once. I still have my insomnia where I stay up for about 1-1.5 hours sometime in the night, and I just watch TV til I fall back to sleep.

Best moment this week? Setting our induction date! I am so excited/nervous/excited...I can't believe that it's just 3 weeks away!!!

Movement? This week there were a few days that he was very chill, not so chill that he made his mommy worry if he was okay, but just laid back. Then on Saturday and Sunday, he was a crazy man, you could literally see my belly jump from side to side!

Belly Button: In or Out? I don't think it's turning out...It is still flat!

Food cravings? None really, I'm just hungry all the time still!

Gender? The specialist showed us his little turtle again, lol, he's definitely not shy/modest!

Labor signs? Still having the Braxton Hicks contractions, but that is all!

What I miss? Being able to sit up in bed, I'm tired of rolling myself out the side of the bed, haha!

What I'm looking forward to? Our induction date on Nov. 30, and meeting our son!!!!

Weekly Wisdom: I've learned this week that even if you think you don't know much about babies/newborns, there are others that know less than you do...I learned that at my basics of babycare class and my first birthing class!
